How it started

I have always loved fashion

I grew up on a farm just outside Stellenbosch, where you could find me running on gravel roads in denim wedges, talk about farm chic!

My mom was a fashion buyer, which ignited my fascination with the world of trends, colours, fabrics and styles from an early age.

Fast forward to today, and I am living my dream of connecting with amazing women like you who share the same love of fashion.

When I entered the working world

I realised I was having the same problems so many women have

I needed a wardrobe that could work across the new and different parts of my life. From work to date nights and everyday in between.

I wanted my outfits to still feel like me but they needed to fit into my new lifestyle and my now working gal budget.

I didn’t have all the answers straight away. But over time I learnt how to maximise my wardrobe.

LEARN FROM MY TRIAL AND ERROR

These are the 3 lessons that made the biggest difference for me.

1. You don’t need a big budget to have great style.

It comes down to understanding where to save, where to splurge, and how to get the most out of every piece.

2. You don't need more clothes, you need the right ones.

When your wardrobe is built intentionally and with a system, you'll have pieces you love, wear and know how to style.

3. Fashion can be fun and expressive.

Fashion doesn’t have to feel stressful or serious. It can be a space where you can experiment, express yourself, and have fun with your style.

from outfit ideas to a community of confident women

Fashion has always been a form of creative expression for me, so I started sharing what I was learning along the way. What began as outfit ideas quickly grew into something more.

LBL is now a space where women can save time by knowing what is online and in store; what the upcoming trends and colours are; and how to feel empowered in front of their cupboards and in their clothes.
